Market corrections are always painful but are welcome from time to time. Most of the excess of the market are washed out and a new leg up always ensued. This time is not going to be diferent, and will happen eventually. So relax and let the market clean-up the excesses and keep some cash ready for the next leg up.
When investors realize that the market is the only game in town and after the dust settle and everyone reallocate their portfolio for next year, then we are going to see the market trending up. When will this happen? I do not know. Nobody can tell for certainty, but it will happen again.
